My mum passed away and I’m flying back from Australia for the funeral. I’m distracting myself from my grief by worrying about what to wear at the funeral. I don’t want to be uncomfortable in a suit or a dress and the appropriate black tops I have have sleeves that won’t fit in a jacket. I don’t actually have a smart jacket anyway, tending to wear fringey throws and cardies when the need arises. I was thinking of some kind of cape or cape blazer but most I’ve found have been a bit blankety or costumey. Any suggestions for a smartish black cape or other ideas? Size 22, ageing goth normally.
