The eternal quest for 'Spring' shoes...

I am looking for navy or tan shoes mainly to wear with trousers

I like these for jeans/trousers www.dunelondon.com/en-ie/gracella-flatform-slip-on-loafer-0076500620054173/?showsku=6306799

or these if they were a nicer shade.

But....I'd like something I can walk in, that look smart and if I buy something like these, they won't really do for skirts and dresses so what do I put on my feet then?

I find Spring/Summer impossible for shoes!

I have the same issue. I think maybe pale coloured ankle boots or shoe-boots might be the answer. I like the look of these but not sure I trust that website and would prefer to find in a shop anyway for size.

Or maybe these Rieker ones from Amazon.

Sorry, bad link: Rieker

I have some ugg Sammy loafers, bought from MandM in tan suede with I always get complements on, they don't seam to have them at the moment but there are some others which are similar. Might be worth a look.

SlipperOrchid · 01/04/2019 10:19

I have the Sammy shoes but.... to me they slit into the category of trainers. I have loads.

I looked at the navy flatworms again and think they are too heavy looking for warmer weather.

I have brown leather loafer style shoes and I barely wear them as I feel so frumpy in them. They are the opposite of ‘cool’ and I now wear them when cutting the lawn.

I have the same shoes in black and have never worn them. They feel too office like and just aren’t me..,..

I’m so stuck particularly for skirts when trainers just won’t do.

Help please!!!!

Low heel pumps? I have the same problem myself, gets solved when it's sandal weather.

Have you looked at Vagabond?

What about mules? I have these and they are like walking on air, I wear them with trousers and dresses. They are ££ but there is always a code around for 20% off

I tend to wear ankle boots at this time of year, when I’m not wearing trainers. I’ve got three at the moment, a tan pair, a grey snakeskin pair, and a taupe pair. I also have a couple of pairs of timberland Chelsea boots (one low heeled pair and one high) and a pair of their lace up heeled boots. I can just about get away with the lace ups in April but they are burgundy so I think they will look odd once spring is properly here. But for now they are fine.

At work I wear my pumps, courts, stacked heel boots and brogues.
