Foundation

Hi, I'm looking for a foundation that evens skin tone and is suitable for pale skin that has pink/red undertones. I seem to look too pale and ghostly or orange. I think I need a yellow toned foundation that doesn't cost the earth? I've tried EL double wear and Clinique red solutions. Any ideas? Thanks

I'm normally the lightest or second lightest shade in most foundations and I really like the Charlotte Tilbury magic foundation, the Urban Decay naked foundation and also The Ordinary do lovely foundations that are super cheap

I'd like to try The Ordinary but would need a sample and can't find any!

Some House of Fraser stores have stands that give samples. I bought it off the ordinary site and guessed my shade, was perfect. I read that it's designed so around three different shades would suit.

Sounds like my skin and I use Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation. It's the only foundation I've repeatedly bought. Goes on easily, is really long lasting and you don't need much for an even finish.

Primark have some good foundations, just not always in stock.
