Has anyone used Dermatica? The online dermatologist site?

Hey,

I’ve just done an online consulation on this website and they’ve recommended tretinoin and hydroquinone for anti aging and uneven skin tone (plus acne 🙄). I’m now at the point where I need to upload photos...but I’m nervous! Is it a legit website? Has anyone else used them before? Xx

I use them for anti aging. I get tretinoin from them. It's all legit. I know there are cheaper options, but I like knowing that I'm getting the genuine medication, and not having to wait weeks for international deliveries to turn up. It just arrives once a month. I have increased strength too, just sent a message requesting an increase for my next delivery and it was done.

I find the bottle lasts more than a month, more like 5-6 weeks (and I do face, neck and chest every night) so I sometimes pause my subscription for a month until I catch up, and then re-start it.

Thanks for the info. How have you found the tretinoin? Xx

I haven't been using it long enough for proper anti ageing effects to show yet, but my smile lines are definitely a little better, and my skin looks generally a bit brighter and fresher (I use vitamin c too). I hardly ever get any spots now, and they go away really quickly when I do. Closed comedones, rough texture and blackheads that I was beginning to think would never go away have gone, and my previously very oily skin has balanced out and is now more "normal". My dark circles have reduced a bit, but I don't know how much of that is the tretinoin, or if it's the vitamin c, or a combination of the two.

Its definitely worth it for me.

Wow that sounds amazing! Did you get any initial reaction like flaking or a breakout? You’ve convinced me. Thanks so much for the detailed response xxx

I haven't had any issues, no initial breakout. My skin has been a tiny bit dry here and there, but I really increased my moisturising when I started using it and it has kept it at bay. I leave 30 mins after washing my face before applying a really thin layer, and then half an hour after the tretinoin I use niacinamide serum, hyaluronic acid serum, vichy thermal water, ceramide oil capsules and a good moisturiser. Occasionally if I feel a little bit dry I pat a thin layer of aquaphor over my face just before I go to sleep. That does take a bit of getting used to but really makes skin feel nice and soft and plumped up feeling the next morning.

I did every other day for a couple of weeks, then gradually increased to daily, took a break if I felt I needed it. I think the fact that my skin was really very oily when I started has probably helped me avoid drying out too much.

Can I ash how much product do you get each month? How many grams is it?

The company was featured on THis morning the other day so yes,it is legit as it was recommended by Caroline Hirons.
