When I’m just pottering about at home,I look an absolute slob.....am I the only one ? Baggy old tracksuit bottoms, t shirt ?

My idea of slobby is a jumper dress in the winter and a cotton tea dress in the summer. I dont actually own any jogging bottoms, jeans or trousers!

I do however have a variety of dressing gowns that i love wearing over my day clothes, they are my slobby wear Grin. I have a special one just for when i am painting (artist).

HundredMilesAnHour · 31/03/2019 16:44

Nope, I don't look like a slob when I'm at home. I'm chilling on the sofa at home (watching F1) wearing leather look leggings and a black & white striped top. This is nearest I get to being a slob.

TheQueef · 31/03/2019 16:46

I wear a day robe.

BlueMerchant · 31/03/2019 16:48

Old leggings (baggy) and a t-shirt top.Blush.
I'm wondering what other people wear. I really feel a slob.

Infamy · 31/03/2019 16:52

Yep, I wear yoga trousers, t shirt and hoodie. And north face tent mules!!😂 classy bird, me! 😉

Snowflake9 · 31/03/2019 16:55

I only wear slob wear if I am cleaning. Like I am today. Other than that I try and look nice as it makes me feel better at myself. By nice I mean a nice top and jeans or something.. not a ball gown although that does sound interesting !

Be you. Be comfortable.

PatchworkGirl · 31/03/2019 17:05

Yes - I totally slob out at home.

I also work from home so there are days when I don't go out until the afternoon - on those I just change from PJs into other comfortable clothes (very old floppy joggers or more PJs) and a jumper until I need to leave the house!

I change out of jeans if I've been wearing them and am home 'for the day'. But if I'm in a dress I usually leave it on.

IncrediblySadToo · 31/03/2019 17:10

I’m comfortable. I don’t much care what people call it 😁🤷🏻‍♀️

Usually leggings & T-shirt - I’d be happy if friends dropped in, but I wouldn’t go beyond the gate in them. Today I’m in rolled up cargo’s & a T-shirt, I’d go out in these.

I’m a leggings/jeans/T-shirt’s type of girl though. I HATE fussy clothes.

Bluntness100 · 31/03/2019 17:16

Yes I do this, I wear mint velvet skirted leggings and a variety of vests with a long sleeve tee on top. Normally my hair is a scraped up messy bun and no make up, so I look like something ill.

However we have been having some work done on the house and now I'm having to put a little make up on and brush my hair into a semblance of a style every bloody morning (I work from home) so I look remotely human in front of the work men, it's a total pain in the arse.

Colour me shallow,,,🤣

FrequentFlyer96 · 31/03/2019 17:17

I move between my ‘outside’ clothes and straight into pyjamas the rest of the time. I can’t seem to sit around at home in comfort in normal clothing. Unannounced visitors can occasionally be an issue when I’m in pyjamas in the middle of a weekend afternoon!

OrigamiZoo · 31/03/2019 18:16

joggers, t shirt, denim shirt, can be seen outside the house if needed!

Pinkarsedfly · 31/03/2019 18:20

I spy a bit of one-upmanship on this thread.

My idea of slobby is a Versace kimono, with Louboutin ostrich-trimmed mules and a messy updo, a la Meghan Markle.*

*might not be true

It’s in Style & Beauty 🤣🤣🤣. It’s kind of the point of this section. I post here about 3x a year when it’s in active and something I think I can actually answer 🤣

My leggings are mostly from the VERY exclusive TU Range.

🤣

beeyourself · 01/04/2019 19:24

I wear yoga pants and a baggy T-shirt - clean but very relaxed and slobby. I think this is fine Smile

NC4Now · 01/04/2019 19:27

My hush harems are my at home staples. Depending what I wear with them I can stray into slob territory.

HoHoHolyCow · 01/04/2019 19:28

Once I am in for the day I get changed into yoga pants and a stretchy vest. Bra off. Bliss!

I hate sitting around in proper clothes.

If I'm staying at home all day I do get dressed properly, but would be back into comfy clothes by 6pm!

Nameisthegame · 01/04/2019 19:59

My slobbery is a juicy couture outfit given to me second hand from my nan lol currently sorting out all my babies old clothes to sell off at a fraction of the price I bought them at.

Nameisthegame · 01/04/2019 20:00

So much pink! I don’t even like pink lol

Gingerkittykat · 01/04/2019 23:28

Leggings (new look), any comfy top I can find and crocs are my indoor wear!

maxinespalour · 01/04/2019 23:33

On 'at home days' I'm a slob from the neck down, generally leggings and dhs old baggy sweatshirt but from the neck up, I'm always fully made up and hair immaculate. It drives my mum potty Grin

happyhillock · 01/04/2019 23:36

Jogging bottoms and a t shirt when i'm at home, so comfy

FloofyDoof · 02/04/2019 00:05

At home I live in Jersey harem trousers and a loose t-shirt. I add a big baggy jumper/cardigan and fluffy socks if it's cold. Hair up out of the way. I don't really care what I look like at home, as long as I am comfortable. I would also run to the big tesco 2 mins away dressed like this, but maybe not go any further.

PinkieTuscadero · 02/04/2019 00:13

harem pants, hoodie, hair up.

Bliss.

NC4Now · 02/04/2019 00:13

Are yoga pants leggings or joggers? I’ve never understood that term.

Cloudyyy · 02/04/2019 00:30

I love being comfy at home but also try not to slob completely. It was hard not to on maternity leave! To help, I bought some really lovely soft loungewear sets that fit well and I can even pop to the corner shop in if needed.
