Dyson airwrap arrives today!

I've managed to get hold of one of the Dyson air wraps, thanks to an alert arriving during an extremely boring meeting on Wednesday Despite the website saying 2.3 weeks delivery, it's arriving today.
Slightly panicked about what to do with it! I'm not noted for my ability to style my hair but love it a bit curly and my hairdresser has told me I have the right sort of hair for the airwrap (whatever that means).
Has anyone got any tips as to where to start? Any you tube recommendations? Having read a few threads on here, it looks like it isn't the easiest thing to get to grips with, but I want to make sure I get the most from the hideous expense of it.. I've told DH that it has better be more use than the awful handheld vacuum we have that is a severe disappointment!

I'm the same cashmere! I got an alert on Wednesday and the airwrap arrived yesterday. Super impressed with delivery.

I haven't had time yet to even unbox it but will do so tonight. I have watched several tutorials on YouTube but will probably use the smoothing brush initially before trying any curls.

Let me know how you get on.

Excited for you OP and PP! I absolutely love mine. It does take some getting used to, and is not something I recommend trying out for the first time if you have somewhere to go that evening as you'll want to try out all the components to see which you prefer (and figure out how to actually make it work).

Which set did you buy?

When I first started using it, it took over an hour to do my full head, but now I can go from towel dried hair to full volumed, curly blow dry hair in 20 mins! For me, I worked out that I needed to use a little bit of mousse while wet, and a tiny bit of hairspray after, so that it kept its shape for longer.

I haven't got any recommendations for YouTube but definitely just search it and watch them WHILE you're having a go.

I found the Ariba Pervaiz tutorials on YouTube very helpful.

Thanks, that's really helpful, I'll have a look when I get home.
I've bought the complete set, was in a bit of a rush to just get my hands on one so just grabbed it! They were out of stock again within minutes, so just hope it's worth it!
