Update on lower facelift

So - I had the procedure done on 22nd February. The main issue was having to use a bedpan for 8 hours whilst I was attached to lots of equipment. But the only pain I had was the feeling that my ear had been bent to the side. Not much bruising, and I was out and about within 4 days as soon as they took off the headgear. People have no idea I have had anything done, but have said that I have lost weight (I have not), and that I am looking great. I can see a major difference - shame that the side pic had my hair covering my face. but that was how I had to wear it to cover up my chin(s)! The total cost was around £3000. The before pics are on the right (really logical - not)

Looks great! I suspect I'll be going down this route one day. How many hours were you under?

m00rfarm · 29/03/2019 11:06

THank you. It was four hours in total. Then a night in hospital and home the next morning.

Wow! You must be delighted - it is an excellent result!!

Racheyg · 29/03/2019 15:00

Wow op the results are amazing x

Thank you - my partner swears he cannot see the difference, but looking at the pictures it does seem really obvious to me! The way my mole that started under my chin has slid down my neck over the past 15 years was such a visible sign to me that things were going south!

I can see the result on the lower right hand side face on, but can see the neck sideways on, can i ask where you had it done? was it local or general anaesthetic
I am, looking into this myself, but i would want local,
I have found 2 places in Yorkshire, who charge around £3000 -£3.300,as a day case
I am more bothered by my turkey neck than face to be honest, would have liked to have seen results on yours

princessTiasmum · 31/03/2019 22:52

Meant to say it looks good by the way, pressed too soon

Nowordsleft · 01/04/2019 07:57

Can I ask how old you are op as you look fine before?!

neveradullmoment99 · 01/04/2019 10:15

You don't look that old tbh. Your skin looks pretty good in both pictures! Face definitely looks more defined at the chin now.

Spottedboxfish · 01/04/2019 10:42

Looks really good. I have the same thing going on as in your before pic. Can’t stump up £3000 or I’d be very tempted after seeing your after shots. You must be very pleased.

m00rfarm · 14/04/2019 09:19

I’m 55. I had a general anaesthetic. Scars are already fading and it’s looking good I think. I stupidly did not take many before pics so not much to compare it with! I’m really tempted to get the top half done now!!! I spent years not using proper cleaning stuff on my face. I’ve been using moisturiser now for about ten years which I think helped slow the aging process. But I’m so glad I got it done! Oh my also had an indentation/line around my neck where the fat was rolling I guess. A bit lower than where a choker necklace would go. That’s gone now as well.
