I hope it's not true but if it is and that's the reason the brothers fell out, then the Sussex move away from KP suddenly makes a lot of sense. And it would be pretty despicable that Meghan got the blame for it.

Yes, if Megs is taking the blame for William’s misdeeds that’s going to make Harry even more protective over Megs and upset with William.

I have to say, that thread makes an awful lots of sense to a weird situation. Explains why Harry has been looking so pissed off recently. Also why Catherine is looking stressed and why William looks aloof.

BUT.....I still don’t want to think it’s true.

I wonder if that is what actually caused the fall out! I'm not convinced the story is true and I'm also in camp don't want it to be true, but if it is I think Harry would have known for longer than we have been seeing the frostiness between the brothers. I wonder if knowing what he did and seeing Meghan attacked but the press daily and must of those stories being pro Cambridge was the proverbial straw that broke the donkeys back!

I don’t want to believe it, but I do actually think it could be true. There would be no other reason for Harry not to want to live next door to William. Apparently Meghan and Harry have long since left KP, even though Frogmore isn’t ready yet.

Harry has always said that Kate is the sister he never had. And of course all the shit in their childhood. I think that’s why William would have argued Harry’s case for the seperate households. I guess that’s when he would have to come clean to Prince Charles and the Queen.

I think the splitting of households would have happened regardless, Charles is the only one of the queens children to have his own household the rest share one out of BP which is where Harry and Meghan are moving to. So it makes sense as a future heir William would be the one with a household not Harry. I imagine in the future we will see similar with George having one and Charlotte and Louis not.

The move to Frogmore seems to me to be the harder to explain. I remember at the time lots being said about no room and Kensington and there being nowhere appropriate/private enough at KP, I seem to remember someone on here visiting and saying that the potential apartment for H & M being very close to the public but I'm not sure how much if any of that is the reason.

The question seems to be a) At what point William would have told Harry b) exactly when this affair if it happened is meant to have taken place??

If it's true, and I'm not saying it is, then two things come to mind:

Was Team Cambridge deliberately planting stories about Meghan in the media to deflect from Williams antics? If so then, as I said before, it's a despicable thing to do to Meghan, who has really hit the ground running and seems to have a better work ethic than most of the other royals.

Secondly, what would it mean for the future of the royal family if William was proved to be a cheat? I know princes have taken mistresses since the dawn of time but given he's the son of St Diana (whose marital woes were legendary) it would be far more damaging than the events of HM's annus horribilis.

I'd forgotten about the scarf thing at Christmas Dobby until you mentioned it. There did seem to be something odd going on then.

And Kate has seemed to be looking tired lately. I recall some comments about her face at that posh do when she wore the pink/cream dress. I thought then that she looked like she'd been crying.

If Wills has been playing away then he's going to get roasted by the media, and by his father, because it'll be all about "like father, like son", and Charles has put in a lot of effort on his rehabilitation in the media in recent decades.

I really hope there's no truth to this. If it is true then poor Kate. I'm horrified to think William would do the same thing to his poor wife that Charles did to Diana. He wouldn't do that surely. The press would crucify him and that would be an end to the monarchy.
