Saltwater Sandals

Hi! Have bought a pair of secondhand saltwater sandals in saltwater size 8. I'm more a size 6.5 uk and my feet are pretty skinny; the sandals feel massive on my feet and my big toe is just under the stitching. If I get them wet would they shrink a bit or just loosen? Or have I totally misunderstood the sizing and need to get a saltwater size 7? Thanks!

I doubt it. I'm a 7 and I have a pair in a 7 which fit great. I've also had them in the water in holiday and in the washing machine so can see them shrinking to fit. You might even be a size 6 as my 7s are roomy. Office sell them if you need to try sizes or their website has a print out that you can measure your feet against. It's pretty accurate.

I'm a UK 7 and bought a 7. I actually found they were a little on the large side but the size down was too small. Putting them in water stretches them rather than shrinks.

Thanks! Much appreciated. Back onto eBay they go 🤦🏼‍♀️
