Has anyone ordered anything from them? What's the quality like?

I bought a dress; it took ages for me to get the creases out because it was packaged folded. I’m glad I persevered though because it became a favourite. It was in the sale and only cost £17!

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 27/03/2019 18:33

Nice quality then?

I have two lovely dresses from them, one knitted and a poly/mix

Though on a previous thread the general concensus was that their goods are 'polyester shite'

Shockers · 27/03/2019 20:02

I didn’t think so when it first arrived, and it is polyester, but it’s cut well, is unusual enough to garner ‘love your dress’ comments, and has become a favourite for when I want to feel a bit dressed up, but not uncomfortably so.

I'm fed up of buying stuff online that looks nice but us actually nylon. Doesn't seem like it's stuff is of the highest quality then 🤷🏻‍♀️

I bought a dress from them a few years ago, tbh it was polyester and not very nice but it was in the sale and cheap so is it any wonder?

BusterGonad · 29/03/2019 10:28

I tend to buy cotton or viscose these days, viscose can be hit and miss as if it's not been pre washed or shrunk then it may shrink when you wash it.

I ordered two dresses as they looked lovely online. The fabric was cheap looking and polyester though, I returned them. It was a shame as beautiful design.

I love yumu. but I do find the dresses come up very small I have big boobs and often have to get a 16 or 18 where is normally I’d be fine in a 14 or sometimes even 12 is in the High Street but apart from that I still wear clothes I’ve brought from them 10 years ago

they used to have an outlet store near me, sadly it’s close d now and I really miss it, the patterns are so unusual and exactly the sort of thing I like

WildFlower2019 · 29/03/2019 11:01

There's a yumi store near where I live, I love their stuff and I often get previous season stuff and second hand from eBay x

WildFlower2019 · 29/03/2019 11:02

(But yeah I wouldn't pay full price for viscose etc)
