Wedding shoes help pleeeeeease!

I'm getting married in August and I have everything sorted except my shoes 🤦🏼‍♀️. I am really struggling! I'm hoping you can help me if possible....

They need to be cheap! Preferably no more than £30 although I'm willing to go over slightly if I really have to. I'd like ivory ones with either a wedge or a low heel as I have awkward feet (high arch and a big toe problem lol so get a lot of pain in feet) id like them to be pretty and elegant as my dress is so lovely (vintage lace). Any ideas?? Thanks in advance x

I had blue pointy stilettos for my wedding. You couldn't really see them under my dress and I've worn them since as well. Could you look for something like that?

TableforJane · 26/03/2019 08:37

OP: I'd like ivory ones with either a wedge or a low heel

@ranoutofquinoaandprosecco: [go for] blue pointy stilettos

😂 ridiculous!!

OP, I found some fairly reasonable bridal shoes on the Debenhams website when I was looking. Good luck and congratulations!

Look online and see if there is any sales. I got mine (last year) from Dune. They were Ivory satin with diamantes on with an inch heel and an ankle strap. Think they were meant to be about £60 but I got them for £15

mrssmiling · 26/03/2019 08:49

Not quite sure what style you would like, but these are both classic styles at about the right price.

Good luck!

@Palominoo ** they are pretty but i think I need a little height to compliment the style of the dress. Bit wary also of online only companies. Thank you though x

@mrssmiling I've just looked at some other shoes on that website and I've seen a few that are gorgeous but £££ typical of me lol

Most of the Debenhams ones are still over budget even in the sale, but these are nice. www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_63126+25331646_-1

I also have problem feet - mine were similar to what you're after (sorry, no link - it was 20 years ago!) and I got them from a dance shop. Perhaps you could try that?

Had a quick trawl - they were a bit like these (but not £320!!!)

mintmagnummm · 26/03/2019 14:29

@Normandy144 I really like those! Thank you will show my maid of honour and aww what she thinks. A bit over budget but hey ho.

@DontCallMeCharlotte I really don't like those I'm sorry 😐 appreciate it though x

@mintmagnummm glad you like them! I had a similar pair with a higher heel. It's a classic look and i had a lace dress too.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 26/03/2019 15:49

No problem. Although you could still try a dance shop.

Love the ones Normandy144 linked!

Pythonesque · 26/03/2019 15:57

Agree that it is worth trying dance shops, that's where all my nicest fit-my-feet-properly classic style shoes have come from.

notatwork · 26/03/2019 16:02

Have a look at the Katz Dancewear bridal shoes sale: and Under
all dyeable too in case you do decide to go blue after all!
