Best red lipstick recommendations please

Can anyone recommend a good red lipstick?
I’m very pale skinned and dark haired if that helps. I find lipsticks are usually really drying and don’t tend to last very long on my lips.
I’ve got a red dress to wear to a party and I’m looking for inspiration for a matching lippy . Thank you x

I like Laura Mercier Velour extreme, matte but not drying. I've got it in
Dominate

If you have cool colouring, then Mac Russian Red.
Mac Ruby Woo and Bobbi Brown red carpet suit everyone, butbit is matte.
For warm colouring try Mac Ladybug.

I'm wearing Mac Lady Danger. It's the closest I've found to what I have sought for many years. But still not quite there. Same colouring as you.
So watching this space.

I like Bobbi Brown Imperial Red. Not drying. They do several reds and I always find the assistants very knowledgable.

Second the Fenty Beauty Stunna - lasts forever and not as drying as you would expect from a matte liquid lipstick

I have tried lots but always come back to the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick 01. You do have to blot well but for £5 it's brilliant.

Another vote for MAC Russian Red. I always get lots of compliments when I wear it.

Which red lipstick is best to keep your teeth white? I find some red colours make my teeth look yellow.

Rhubarb - a blue toned one would make teeth whiter.

God, not Ruby Woo! It's a beautiful colour but it's soooooo drying!

The best red lipstick I have found is Revlon Red by, um Revlon! If you take a bit of time applying it in a few layers and blotting between it lasts so well and won't make you feel like your lips are falling off.

Mac Russian red

You need to decide if you want an orange or a blue toned red.

I vote for Chanel pirate, Chanel cocoa rouge, mac lady danger, and Mac ruby woo.
