Hello fashionistas!

I'm off on hols in 10 days, going to south India and very excited to be staying in some fancy hotels for the first time since honeymoon 10yrs ago!

I need some help packing - I want to travel light and normally overpack and end up wearing so little of it. We are only there for a week.

I'm 35, thin but wobbly (squidgy size 10/12). Legs are good, arms and tummy not so good! I like shorts, the more tailored type normally though. I'm blonde but tan. At home I live in navy/grey/tan colours so this is proving difficult for me!!

We will mostly be by the pool or around the local beach bars...... I want to look stylish, but I'm not averse to a few tassels etc! However, don't want to look like I'm trying to be 21!

I have so far;

Nice cover up in blue chambray

Nice m&s bikini in metallic gold/black/pink which looks nicer than it sounds. Think I need another bikini. I also need to find some confidence as haven't worn a bikini since before kids.

Old white shorts that need replacing and one nice pair of denim ones that fit well. Anyone tried Boden Richmond shorts??

Decent tees from jigsaw, probably need a few more though.

Nice flat sandals. Do I need a wedge/heel?

What else/how much of it do I need??

Just one pair of wedges should do...no heels. Good walking sandals. If it is Kerala remember it is quite humid and muggy.

Loads of floaty kaftan type dresses or linen tops. Wear your most comfortable summer clothes but accessorize like a queen Smile

You might be better off buying stuff there. Or if you prefer lovely cotton dresses, tunics etc with a local flavour, this brand delivers to the UK: www.globaldesi.in/

Remember you may pay duties if shipped here though...
