Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley shoes

Hi, I am looking for advice from anyone who has bought this make of footwear. I am confused about the sizing because their size charts are different.
Russell & Bromley US 8=Eu39=UK 6
Stuart Weitzman US8=Eu38.5=UK5.5
Can anyone familiar with Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley footwear please clarify this for me.

In my opinion they come up big. The size chart is probably to reflect that. But I'd go further and say a SW 38 is like a uk6
