Wavy mid/shoulder length layered hair cut

My hair is currently bra strap length, or just a bit longer, and I am having a much needed cut on Monday. I had a full hair dye a year ago which has made the ends very brittle and they knot up. It just looks awful. I would like to have it cut to shoulder length or slightly longer with layers, no fringe, but not sure how to ask so I am looking for pictures of what I'd like to show the stylist. They ask me things like how would you like the front done, which I am never sure about. The nicest shorter hair cut I had done was 10 years ago, and it was just so bouncy and nice but I didn't get any photos :(
I have found a couple I quite like when googling, but I hate using celeb pics, as I am approaching 50 and I don't want them to think I want to look like the young actress/model etc, I want just their hair style.

Can you post the pics you like on here OP? What shape is your face?

I think your hair is gorgeous as it is.

I thought someone had ghost written this post for me.
My hair is similar colour, similar length and I am 50 in a couple of months and I also want a slightly longer than shoulder length wavy cut.
(If you hadn’t said about the dye, I would have been very spooked as I have never dyed my hair).
Seriously spooky.

I need to find a style as well..

@QuitMoaning oooh hair twins! I'm actually 50 in 3 years, but its approaching too fast for my liking.

@JMAngel1 thank you. The photo doesn't show how whispy and crispy the ends are. I say ends, the last 3 or so inches.

@Horsemad my face is quite square. I wear glasses as well, so I need to be mindful of that. I have had a fringe in the past which I have now grown out. I loved my fringe, but its a right pain having to have it trimmed all the time.

I'll see if I can find the photos I saw, as I'm on my ipad and they are on my phone.

I also wear glasses!!!!!
Only a few months until 50 and I have a round face so there are some differences 😂
