Are these too 'little girly' for a 29-year-old

I think I love them, but don't want to look like I've raided the kids section.

I have a quite quirky style usually, so they are in keeping.

Not my style but would say yes if you have good legs.

Palominoo · 21/03/2019 16:26

Only if you're slim and the rest of the outfit is in keeping with them. They have a retro vibe so could look really nice or bloody awful if you get it wrong!

StarlightLady · 21/03/2019 18:29

Good on a casual summer’s day. Not so good for the office.

professionalnomad · 21/03/2019 18:43

If you like them you should wear them - your leg size doesn't matter!

PinkLipsDontLie · 21/03/2019 18:49

Wish I had the legs for those and I would wear them even if they had Peppa pig on..

Mmmhmmokdear · 21/03/2019 18:50

I would definitely wear them and I'm definitely older than 29!!

ijustdontunderstandher · 21/03/2019 18:50

I like them, they’d look great in the summer

MikeUniformMike · 21/03/2019 18:50

They're fine. Not little girly at all.

BlueMerchant · 21/03/2019 18:52

I think they are little girl shorts.

CountFosco · 21/03/2019 19:31

If you love them wear them.

Candleglow7475 · 21/03/2019 19:58

My DD’s 6 would love them... sorry you did ask... but if you like theM go for it, they certainly have a happy summer’ vibe.

SuziQ10 · 21/03/2019 21:05

I'm the same age and think they are nice.

With a simple top. I wear short shorts a lot during summer & holidays, always on the look out for nice new ones.

Bookworm4 · 21/03/2019 21:14

Too wee girly, I don't get adults trying to be cute, as PP be fine on a child.

If people think these are too 'little girly' then what the hell am I doing wearing pastel coloured Pusheen t-shirts as a 30 year old? Grin

Not to my taste, but if you like them and they go with your style, go for it.

dontgobaconmyheart · 22/03/2019 01:54

They're very Cath Kidston. Pretty much all their clothes are in a similar vein and it's clearly popular so I wouldn't worry OP. I think for me they'd be hard to style without getting toddler vibes, I think it's more that they're twee, than quirky- I don't have anything hugely against them though, they're cute and I'm sure you know if they fit in with your style. It's the kind of thing I'd notice and go 'ah those are fun' but wouldn't wear because I really would look like a child (am short/slim/chubby of cheek) - go for it if you like them, would love to see them styled quirkily!
