Hello, I wondered if I could get some links to comfy trousers (track pant comfy), that I could get away with going out in (school, supermarket etc). I don’t find activewear THAT comfy as is quite “compressiony” and tight. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Not trousers (sorry!) but I have these jumpsuits from monki that are so soft and SO comfortable. They come in long sleeve and thin strap and can be v casual or a bit dressy. I bloody love them. I think they're called 'super soft wrap jumpsuit' or something like that.

Thanks EELA I love jump suits they are definitely comfy! I’m a bit worried about getting another in case they go out of fashion soon! ...

I have these https://www.hush-uk.com/womenswear/daywear/trousersshorts/longgharemtrouserss1.htm
Expensive compared to others similar in style but I don't find they go baggy on the needs or droopy on the crotch! Very comfy, can be worn with pretty much everything.

Hi yakari - I’m going into autumn where I live...what shoes would you wear and what kind of top?

Pinkarsedfly · 21/03/2019 03:06

I love Hush harems. I have four pairs and live in them.

Shoe wise I wear them with Stan Smiths or Converse, or flip flops/Birkies in summer.

Top-wise I’d wear a vest with an open denim or flannel shirt, or a t-shirt, or a jumper. Anything really.

Inneedofadvice27 · 21/03/2019 03:10

Hey pink I have zero style any more ☹️, do you think the top should be quite tight as the bottom is casual so as not to look frumpy? Thanks

I'm a big fan of slouchy chinos - you can dress them up or down and they're so comfy. This sort of thing...

I've just started buying these: www.silkliving.com/collections/pants

They are from a New Zealand company, but seem to ship everywhere.

They are so comfortable - a very lightweight knit in a combination of mainly silk, with a bit of merino. I have just worn them through summer, and I think that they will be fine through to all but the very coldest weather.

I have reached a stage where I want really comfortable clothes, and these fit the bill and still look good because the fabric drapes so well. They're not really cheap, but the reviews (if they can be believed) claim they last for years. I have washed them in the washing machine and they come up well, no need for any ironing.

I have just order another pair of pants, some leggings and a tunic, so I am really a fan.

Pinkarsedfly · 21/03/2019 03:20

Yes, a snug fit does balance the look out a bit.

That said, I often wear a raglan sweater or jumper over a vest with mine. Comfort is everything!

yakari · 21/03/2019 06:27

I've worn those hush pants with everything from flip flops, to trainers to ugg boots! And equally with vest tops, baggie jumpers and even a sort of slouchy blazer (bad cramps needed comfort whilst looking semi smart - converse, fitted tee, harems and a soft blazer style jacket. Looked ok)
Ugg boots, baggy jumper and harems is possibly the 'worse' look but my dogs don't care so neither do I Wink

Aethelthryth · 21/03/2019 06:28

Anything from Toast- slouchy styles, discretely elasticated waists but smart materials

Inneedofadvice27 · 21/03/2019 07:09

Trousers with around 60% lyocell and the rest cotton are really soft. I have 2 khaki paper bag type in this fabric and wear them everyday when working from home. Good enough to pop out in, but so comfy.

PottyPotterer · 21/03/2019 07:28

I practically live in these on my days off www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0703781001.html. Super comfy and budget friendly, they wash well too.

ISpeakJive · 21/03/2019 10:39

Another one who lives in Harem trousers. Throw it on with any top, any shoes and off you go.... Always worth spending abit more so they last because you will never take them off.

Annasgirl · 21/03/2019 10:41

Oh those Toast trousers all look so fab - but wow they are very expensive!!!!

namechangedbutneedadvice · 21/03/2019 10:45

I'm currently waiting for these Constance Hall trousers to arrive. I have high hopes! likeaqueenshop.com/products/mumtum-pants

bakingdemon · 21/03/2019 15:28

I gave in to a Facebook advert for Zaggora's Apartment Pants and they are super comfy

PickAChew · 21/03/2019 15:48

I'm wearing some very unfashionable straight leg jeans, today. I prefer skinnies, but these are nice when my joints are sore.

The only joggers I'll venture further than the corner shop in are some converse core. Slim legged and flattering. They're really warm, mind.

HaventGotAllDay · 21/03/2019 17:45

Me & Em Palazzo pants.
Like wearing comfy pyjamas but look great and get loads of compliments.

anniehm · 21/03/2019 17:47

I wear hiking trousers, jeans etc, but find soft dresses and leggings more comfortable (with knee high boots )

starsinyourpies · 21/03/2019 17:51

Where do you find nice slouchy chinos?
