Summer work shoes and bunions

I know, I know, it’s not the most enticing of thread titles!

I’m looking for shoes that I can wear to the office this summer that won’t hurt or further damage my feet. As well as needing wide fit shoes, they also need to be supportive and have a roomy end for my toes. Shoes that taper to a point are dreadful for bunions. Ideally I’d like to put in my own insoles, with proper arch support.

Stylewise, I normally wear a shift dress with a linen jacket, or trousers and a floaty blouse. It’s a pretty casual office, but not completely so.

Can anyone suggest some decent brands and shoe types to try out? I’m a bit stuck with ideas.

M&S wide fit footglove are excellent. They are so supported and comfortable I can even wear their stilettos for work all day and not get pains. They have a huge range of wedges, courts, stilettos, ballet pumps, sandals and shoes.

You can narrow your search on the clarks website by fit.

these loafers are similar to what I wear throughout summer.
