Dress For Wedding and Hen Do Help

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a dress to wear to a wedding in June (and possibly double it for my own hen do earlier on in the summer) but am having trouble finding much to fit a late 20s 5'3 small size 6 frame which won't drown me or make me look like a tapestry.

Oh and yellow, navy and green make me look horribly ill!

So far I love this, but it's very expensive and I don't know well Needle and Thread lasts over time?

I also like this, but not sure if it's a bit corporate?

Suggestions please ☺️

Really, really don't like the first one you linked to even before seeing the price but the second one is so very different. It is difficult to get a sense of what you like / what tends to suit you, as the 2 links are such different styles.

I think that's also probably part of the problem - I tend to suit a pretty wide range of styles and don't seem to have just one style that I like either. Just not terribly boho or ditsy prints. I did a quiz the other day to try and narrow it down, but predictably came up with about half the options anyway...

If you had to sum it up I'd probably say lacy modern Victoriana or modern with clean lines. I loved the styles in the new Sabrina show, Lana Del Rey and Chanel which I will never be able to afford if that's any help Grin

(The first one also comes in white, although I may have to live in fear of red wine if that's any better?

Surely you can't wear the White to someone else's wedding??

That is an excellent point! Clearly too early in the morning for me....

Suppose I could just wear the white to my own hen? But only if it's nice enough in the first place Confused

I'm usually so good at this stuff Blush

I really like the dress, wearing to your hen would be perfect.
