Does anyone have any experience of the Styled by Susie consultations or a similar service? I've joined the FB group and they all seem to love it but people tend to 'fan girl' a bit on those sort of groups so wondered if anyone here had tried it?
Thinking of using my birthday money for a consultation then I'll know what to shop for as I lose a bit more weight.
She looks at body shape, colour seasons, capsule wardrobe suggestions etc.

Hi, yes I've had a consultation with Susie and a shopping trip, She's so lovely. She sorted my body shape and which colours suit me and gave me ideas for things that would be good to buy to add in my wardrobe. The Facebook group is really great, everyones helpful and it's a wonderful place for ideas for new outfits and to see what other people of the same season and shape are wearing. It's the one group where there's no hate or judgement. It's a safe haven to build women up. It's definitely worth the money. She also does little videos on certain things like how to wear scarfs or types of shorts or which shoes suit a certain shape more than others, shows how to balance the body correctly. Try have a watch of those as they are really helpful too. I felt having colours done and finding out which shape I am was an investment for my future. Its helped me to buy only things that make me feel really really good and also I question myself on how many ways I can wear things so I'm making more outfits now out of less clothing which is always a bonus. Hope this helps. Xx

Worth every bloody penny. I’ve had a style analysis and loved it. And now I’ve taken her advice on board I can really see the difference.

The only reason I’ve not had a personal shop is that she only does Bluewater and it’s a bit far for me otherwise I’d be down there like a shot!!

The Facebook group is great too. Can defo recommend

This looks interesting. How do the consultations work? Skype?

DontFundHate · 27/04/2019 21:33

Oh I've just looked into it, you fill out a questionnaire? Do you include photos? How do they know what styles we like? As I'm not even sure myself!

Lumene · 27/04/2019 22:21

Mabel and Danni do you meet her in person? Or is it photos/online? If not face to face did you really feel the colour analysis was accurate?

Danni221008 · 28/04/2019 07:21

Yes to have your colours done you send photos. I had mine done in person, but I can tell from the ones that have been done online susie gets it spot on. Its a lot to do with your skin tone/colouring eye colour etc and what colours enhance your appearance and work well with what you have. For example if I wear certain shades of blue/green/pink then my eyes stand out so much more, lemon yellow seems to make my skin glow. I can now tell a person with autumn colouring a mile off 😂 that's from being on the group. I've always been a lover of black but I know really it isn't great on me, Navy's so much better as a base colour as I'm a summer. Also pink, I've never been a pink girl, but certain pink lipsticks do make me look so much better. I've now invested in quite a few. At the moment everyone's wearing some wonderful accessories which totally change an outfit but I'm breastfeeding so limited on what I can wear because of baby grabbing necklaces and earrings and belts dig in her. So looking forward to next year when I can use them a lot more. I think having the hair part of the analysis is brilliant, there's been before and after shots of people and it's amazing the difference Hair colour and cut can make. This was brought in more recently, I know ashy tones suit me best but cut I haven't had done yet but think it's time soon to have this done. I hope this info helps. Everyone starts small with changes they make and over a couple of years there's such a difference. I'm not that great on putting outfits together etc or finding things so I'm always looking on the group for inspiration. But I'm finding myself again slowly. Not easy after having 3 children xxx

I had a personal shop with Susie and she was wonderful. She got my has changed the way I shop and I now find it so much easier to find clothes that fit my shape and suit my colouring. Her Facebook group is really a supportive.
