Joules or Barbour ?

Please help!!

I am needing wanting a lightweight jacket. I am going on a city break at the end on April and wanted something that isn't as thick as the coats I have now.

I have found one on Joules I like and also one on Barbour. (Links below) I just wondered if anyone has any thoughts on the brands ? If one is a better quality than the other ? Or if there was anywhere else anyone suggested to look ? I am happy to spend around £100 and seemed to be drawn to the green colours, as it is different to coats i have already!

Thank you Grin

The Barbour ones are not at all warm so if you need any degree of warmth then I wouldn't go with one of those. Of the two you linked, I much prefer the joules one. Something to note- neither brand has particularly great quality to justify them being twice the price of high street, in my opinion.

Regatta have a jacket called Corretta which is a good dupe for the Barbour. They also have more coats and jackets in khaki.

I own 2 joules coats and a Barbour wax jacket.

The joules coats are excellent quality. And have been washed and worn lots.

The wax obviously you can't wash and is purely for dog walking but I love the huge pockets.
