DH generously gave me a Dyson Airwrap for Christmas and I've been trying to get to grips with it for the past few weeks, but it's, um, a work in progress...
Does anyone else find:
- the left >>> curling barrel grips the hair better than the right >>>? I thought it was just my right-handedness, but I can curl fairly evenly with the left >>> barrel while the right >>> just blows half the hair out. If I swop the barrels, one side of my head is Annie perfection, the other side is Kate dragged through a Bush. I have to do all my head with the left >>> barrel now which isn't ideal. Have I got a dodgy barrel?
- it's meant to be 'better for your hair' because it doesn't get as hot as tongs/GHDs but sheeez, the hot setting is unbearable on my scalp!
- any recommendations for styling products? Elnette mousse + my BBH = big bouncy curls, but (because it doesn't brush product through the same way?) the Airwrap sort of sets it into crunchier curls.
If anyone's got any tips, I'd love to hear them!
