Best budget mascara

I’ve just been de cluttering my make up bags and thrown away all my old mascaras
As I don’t wear make up that often I’ve come to the conclusion there isn’t any point in spending lots as it’ll only get a few uses before going out of date or drying up and going clumpy
Whilst not having to be waterproof I would like decent staying power
And am more into length than thickness
Black is fine
Any good budget recommendations please

Rimmel lash accelerator is the best lengthening mascara I've ever tried.

Beats ever Diorshow imo.

The Essence one with the green writing from Wilko. Just £3.99 and it's the best of the dozens I've used in my time.

Kiko do some lovely mascaras for under £10. I use the standout volume one x

JaceLancs · 19/03/2019 12:23

Will buy one of each and compare

MUA Amplify is fab, just £3, and I also rate the Wilko ones, especially the waterproof one.

Essence False Lash. I have used many and keep going back to this. White and black tube

MaiaRindell · 19/03/2019 13:52

Maybelline Lash Sensational is the best for me - and I have tried them all!

WhatchaMaCalllit · 19/03/2019 14:17

I'd go for the waterproof version of this one:

There's a thread about Primark makeup and I just bought the mascara, I'm super impressed. Most mascara gives me panda eyes but not this. It's daytime mascara though I'd say, it's not super-glam night out mascara.

GayParee · 19/03/2019 14:24

No7 Stay Perfect tubing mascara in gold tube. Doesn't look like I've got spiders attached to my eyelids, no flaking or budging but wipes of easily.

Lengthens and enhances but doesn't look too false - although I know that is a look and what many go for.

Good free gift with 2 cosmetics in Boots at the momen too

Shitonthebloodything · 19/03/2019 17:52

Not sure if it counts as budget but I've always struggled with mascaras and can now wear anything by sandwiching it between Estée Lauder little black primer. You can buy tiny tubes of it that last ages from outlets or eBay for under £5 then even the cheapest mascara looks good and stays on.

elotrolado · 19/03/2019 18:11

I'm using the L'Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara at the moment, it's pretty good and stays put. £7.99 in Superdrug.

Annabk · 19/03/2019 19:36

The gold one from Primark!

formerbabe · 19/03/2019 19:38

Max factor...2000 calorie

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 19/03/2019 20:15

Maybelline Lash Sensational - i second this. It's great.

LancashireTea · 19/03/2019 20:20

The pink and blue ones from Primark are amazing. The only mascara that doesn't make my eyes itch that doesn't cost 25 quid!

hellenbackagen · 19/03/2019 21:05

I 3rd maybeline lash sensational . Less than a tenner.

Ellapaella · 19/03/2019 22:35
