Make up and face cream advice

I’ve recently had a birthday and received some boots vouchers as a gift. I would like to spend them on some nice face cleanser/toner/wash and some face cream plus some make up. The problem is I don’t know where to begin! I rarely wear make up, in fact usually cheap tinted moisturiser and some concealer is my limit. I went in there today but felt so out of my depth! Can anyone offer some advice as to what to get?

I discovered the Liz Earle skincare range at Boots from MN, and can recommend it.

Ponds Cold Cream. An oldie but a goodie, and it's cheap!

You could ask for advice at the make up counters, then have a think before buying.

You could also ask for samples of cleansers and moisturisers.

I have tried every lotion, potion, exfoliant, wrinkle filler, peel and cleanser, oil and serum known to human kind. I reckon I've had everything from pound shop to £££'s and I return to Liz Earle every time. Irritated she sold to Avon but still!

Yes the Liz Earle range is a nice one to grab.
