Aldi glow tonic

Has anyone tried this? How does it slot in to your routine? I use Liz Earle c and p to remove makeup, then instant boost skin tonic, followed by Aldi q10 serum and moisturiser or a night cream. Where would the glow tonic fit in please? Everyday use? Tia

I use it as toner so after cleansing, before moisturising. Someone told me that the best way to figure where something fits in a routine is it's consistency. Start with the lightest and work towards the heaviest. See if it's heavier or lighter than your instant boost skin tonic and slot in accordingly. Hope that helps!

Should add, I only use it in the morning as I don't like putting too much on my skin at night. So my morning routine is cleanser, Aldi healthy glow tonic, Paula's choice bha liquid, eye gel, moisturiser, spf. I actually break the lighter to heavier rule with the spf as it's much lighter than moisturiser but I've always been told to put it on last.

Thanks baa that makes sense, much appreciated. Think I'll use after cleansing and before instant boost.

I also use it immediately after cleansing but before any serums or moisturiser.

I have this, I love it! I take my make up off, use a hot cloth cleanser then the tonic then my night cream.

Thanks everyone. Tried it this morning and I'm NOT impressed. Made my cheeks sting and go red. Skin has felt really dry and tight all day and make up applied really badly. Not for me, it seems!

I have the pixie glow tonic and only use it at night. Never use in the morning or before make-up.

I always thought spf went on first so it could penetrate the skin properly??

I use the glow tonic after cleansing and before moisturiser. I've only been using for a few days but I like the effect so far.

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 16/03/2019 16:12

Just to echo WoahThereMama it’s only recommended to use once a day at night before moisturising.

ReggieWoo · 16/03/2019 16:43

What does tonic do?

YouWereRight · 16/03/2019 21:55

I've been using it after every other day to exfoliate my legs.

Bluesheep8 · 17/03/2019 10:18

Thanks everyone. It seems I should have used it at night then, but after trying it yesterday I'm not going to risk using it again. At least it wasn't ££!
