Braces, when do they stop hurting

I just had train tracks fitted and am already regretting it. I have bite bumps so eating is horrendous and my teeth hurt. I can't believe I signed up for a year of this. Make me feel better please?

You get used to them quite quickly. A couple of days and I was fine. I've only got another 8 weeks to go. Hurrah!

It'll be worth it in the end.

Omg 8 weeks! You must be so pleased. I do feel a bit better this morning but it's a long haul. How are your teeth now?

Take pain killers. Use dental wax if any bits rub on your cheeks. Pain shouldn't last long.
