Quality loungewear/long haul flights

Off to Japan in 2 weeks and want something comfy to wear on the flight and in the house that we are staying in - I have a couple of uniqlo tracksuits but they are really just for indoor/pj use only.

I normally wear jeans but they just aren't comfy enough.

Can anyone recommend anything that won't look like I'm in pjs or that I think I'm part of the Olympic team.....😬

Black leggings with a soft T-shirt and an oversized cardigan for when they crank the aircon up/to cover my bum is my go to. Not an outfit I’d wear elsewhere but when it comes to long haul comfort over fashion wins every time. I also always pack fluffy bed socks to put on if it’s a night flight.

I have a few pairs of stretch soft tapered trousers that are very comfortable. I can wear them at home with the kids with a t-shirt/trainers but can be dressed up easily with a chiffony top and nice flats. Mine are quite inexpensive ones from Next but they are washing well.

If you have a bit of cash to splash maybe leggings, long vest and oversized jumper from Mint Velvet? (Although Primark for long vests is a winner!)

BAM, lovely quality and I am never worried about opening the front door!

Depends on your budget. I travel a lot with work and for long distance my go to are these sweatybetty plus a vest top, cashmere/merino wool hoodie and scarf. I travel hand luggage only and can use all the elements again during the week.

The pocket placement towards the front of the pants not at the side mean they look more flattering on my figure.

Black leggings and tunic style/knitted dress is perfect for flights, I wear long boots with thick socks and take off my boots for comfort

Hush is great quality. Look at their long harems

Wellhellothere101 · 16/03/2019 11:38

I would second Hush long harems or the Arnie joggers with a light jumper for a fight.
I also take off my shoes when I get on the flight and change into cheap slippers to protect my socks when I go to the loo. I use the freebie hotel slippers then throw them away afterwards.

There's a good thread with lots of great suggestion search for "off duty ballerina"

blacquejacqueshellacque · 16/03/2019 16:11

I can't find the off duty ballerina thread?
