I work as a TA in a school and due to funding costs we have got to have a reorganisation, so i have basically got to go for an interview for my own job.
The last interview i had was over 20 years ago, so havnt a clue what to wear for this one! Thank you

I have interviewed for my own job several times, what I wore never seemed very important as I wasn't trying to make a good first impression.
Just wear one of your normal work outfits.
Good luck.

I think you need to look smart so it doesn't look like you're taking the outcome for granted. Although if you've got to teach small children as part of the interview, it will also have to be something comfortable that you can get up and down off the floor in.

Smart trousers and a smart jumper and a nice scarf?

Thanks TinselAngel, it is purely a 'professional discussion'. I was thinking black trousers and a nice blouse?

Yes. Smart but not formal.
