Is it safe to order from lk Bennett?

A dress I want is on sale but still more money than I can afford to lose. Is it safe to order from there now they're in administration?

I wouldn't. I'd go in to a shop and buy it. Perhaps if you buy it on a credit card you'd be covered (if it's over £100 I think...).

I went in to a shop yesterday expecting to find the 25% promotion still on but the new season is now back to full price so a work dress is almost £300. I am not sure I can justify that - and I think this is where they've run into trouble . They are designer prices for a High St brand. I'm wondering if the 25pc promotion will come back or if the name will fold altogether before that can happen.

Good idea with the credit card thing. I'm nowhere near a shop so can't go in.

It's a dress I had my heart set on for my ds's wedding before they went into administration. It's been out of stock until today. Argh

It's not on John Lewis no, not in the print I want.

I don't have a credit card so I'm trying to use one of my family's. So stressful thinking it's going to sell out.

I ordered the other day and the item was dispatched the next day and arrived the day after - super speedy. I'd put it on my CC if it's not something you can order from John Lewis.

Update - I have the dress! Grin

Customer services gave me a number to call and they had one! At the sale price! And they posted it to me straight away! Sorry for all the exclamations but I really didn't think I would get it - or if I did I would have to pay over the odds for one on eBay.

It's rather snug but I'm on keto so it should be perfect by the wedding Smile
