Recommend a leather shoulder bag that isn't £££

I'm looking for a medium sized shoulder bag, made of black leather or a good fake, I quite like tote style. I don't have £££ to spend. Must be comfy to wear on my shoulder though.

Anyone seen anything nice? I don't like lots of chains and gold dangly bits, nice and simple preferably.

If you are not set on real leather, H&M often have some lovely simple totes.
It wasn't black, but last year I got a fab burgundy and pale pink reversible tote from everything5pounds.com When it arrived it was a Primark one. It always get loads of compliments!

Have a look on eBay. I recently got a lovely Fossil bag on there for cheap. It's as good as new and great value. You can get some great bargains on eBay.

I've ordered one from asos. I did look on eBay actually but couldn't find one I liked.

Ok, the ASOS bag arrived yesterday and I don't like it so will be returning it.

I'm now unsure what sort of bag I want I need something I can comfortably carry on my shoulder, not fiddly to get into (the ASOS one had a stiff drawstring inside, too fiddly), but still secured somehow, i.e zip or press stud, not too small, with internal pockets, but not heavy and massive, no gold coloured trimmings but plain and simple, black, I'd like it to feel soft and pleasant.

What do I want?

I have a leather shoulder bag with a stud fastening from Fatface. Nice quality leather and has lasted well - I use it all the time. Not fancy but does exactly what it’s supposed to!

I have the same requirements as you, OP & get Paul Costello bags from TK Maxx. His website also has a sake section which is very reasonably priced.

I get lots of bags from TK Max too. M&S have had some quite nice bags lately.

I bought one from fat face yesterday. It's lovely but I think I might have to return it as the strap is too long

I don’t know what you mean by £££ -I think this is expensive but I have it in brown and I love it. here
