I quite like their stuff, although can only afford the cashmere rarely when it's on sale.

But their styling and marketing is awful.

Just got the Spring catalogue - truly dreadful photography, with ugly models, very badly styled.

They really need a new marketing director & photographer.

The models are definitely not ugly, the styling has always been a bit crap though

Quality is poor. I bought a cardigan about three weeks ago. Two buttons fell off by the third wear. I am still waiting for button replacements.

That is fair comment. They all look very grumpy though. And don't really suit the style of clothes.

The photography is dreadful.

Just had a look - the styling is a bit off-putting.

I used to dream of being thinner and richer and wafting about in Brora dresses and Fairisle cardigans, the image being Kate Middleton or Sam Cam on holiday in Norfolk.

Stopped looking at the catalogue some time ago when reality set in. However looking again they seem to have styled it for a slightly miserable bony woman who is surprised to find herself wearing a smock top and pulling at it.

I don't think it would capture my dream now Sad

I think it's pitched at a similar demographic to Boden, Toast & White Company (well ... if I'm anything to go by) but the photography & styling is so much worse than those other brands, who all have a distinctive 'look'.
