I am 35 and haven't been to the hairdressers for at least a year. I have thick hair that i straighten daily and at present it is half way down my back with layers at the front.
I was going to get an inverted bob but then read they are no longer fashionable!! I need your help please!!

Bumping up for you, I hope someone in the know comes along soon.

I don't think it's a question of what's in fashion, it's about finding a hairstyle that works with your hair type and suits your face.

Look in some magazines and on Pinterest and see if there's anything you like. Then go and have a consultation with a few stylists and see what they suggest before making a decision.

Additionally, a keratin treatment would make your hair easier to straighten on a daily basis. (speaks from experience)

Im getting mine tarted up in a few weeks. Longish shaggy bobs seem to be in. Im getting mine with caramel type balayage through the ends.

I would say long blunt bobs are very in

I wish I had the balls to chop my hair off and get one

I'd agree it's about what suits your face and lifestyle. I have a shoulder length bob with a fringe. It's not fashionable (I don't think anyway) but it really works with my features and my personal style (a bit preppy.)

Why don’t you find a style that works for thick hair and doesn’t need straightened every day ? Which is a lot of work and bad for your hair.
