In a moment of madness, I’ve ordered some of these from a Facebook ad. Am I bonkers?

Watching!

If they work, they would be a game-changer for me. I'll you be the guinea-pig...

TinselAndKnickers · 14/03/2019 11:09

Good luck

TinselAndKnickers · 14/03/2019 11:09

ahhh there was supposed to be a Grin on the end of that!!

fluffiphlox · 14/03/2019 11:10

In my defence, there were a number of positive comments. Hmm

What are they?

Hodgeheggery · 14/03/2019 11:11

My mum wears these, there's a knack to them but once you've got it they look great! Avoid metallic eyeshadow as they highlight them but otherwise you can't tell she has them on.

fluffiphlox · 14/03/2019 11:14

They are stickers whose purpose is to give you a temporary eyelid lift. I know, I know.

I’ve looked them up and I don’t understand them! Blush Are they to hold the floppy bit of your eyelid up (well what would be the floppy bit on my eyelid)? Won’t they be really uncomfortable?

I am very glad you’ve ordered them to report back! Smile

dontgobaconmyheart · 14/03/2019 11:30

Ooh watching with interest, a friend mentioned once that she uses them on one eye to balance out the natural difference in size between them and make them even. She buys them in Japan when she goes for work, apparently they're very popular there. I never thought to try because I assumed they'd be uncomfortable.

Seems like you've inadvertently become several peoples tester here OP Grin

fluffiphlox · 14/03/2019 11:38

I’ll do my best. I’m away at the moment and they’ll be delivered to my home address so there might be a hiatus.

I also ordered some from a Facebook ad! They came this week and I just cannot get to grips with them at all. It's probably me being cack-handed, but they are so fiddly and they didn't come with the t-shaped tool. They are also not long enough to go right across my eye socket. I was so looking forward to them too ...

RedTartanLass · 14/03/2019 12:45

Shamelessly placemarking!!!

emotionalaffair · 14/03/2019 13:29

Also thinking about trying these...

RuggyPeg · 14/03/2019 17:28

They work perfectly and aren't even a bit uncomfortable. You don't know you've got them on. I find them a doddle to apply.

bellalou1234 · 14/03/2019 17:31

Can someone share a link? Are they expensive?

RockyFlintstone · 14/03/2019 17:40

Oh I didn't know if you meant the things that have eyeshadow already on them that you stick to your eyelids and peel off and they 'apply the eyeshadow' onto the lid.

The stickers you mean are very popular in Korea aren't they?

catinboots99 · 14/03/2019 17:57

I've seen adverts for a special lotion that dries tight and has a similar effect I think. I was tempted by that as I have hooded, creepy eyes. Wouldn't they be really noticeable?

catinboots99 · 14/03/2019 17:57

Crepey not creepy ffs

RuggyPeg · 14/03/2019 20:12

I posted my pic before but here it is again. One eye with and one without.

Eyelid stickers
RuggyPeg · 14/03/2019 20:15

They're not noticeable as they're hidden in the crease of your eyelid. I honestly don't know how you can't apply them, it's so easy. Just peel a sticker off and stick it on your eyelid whilst your eye is shut and hey presto! Dirt cheap off eBay. They're used a lot in Korea, Japan etc to give the effect of a double eyelid.

Troton · 14/03/2019 20:16

I need these! Can someone please post a link

Tighnabruaich · 19/03/2019 12:11

I'll need to try again, i just couldn't get it at all.
