Mid forties and about to spend more money than I ever have on skin care.
So far looking at clarins products. Anything firming! I've used beauty flash balm in the last and liked it.
Any suggestions for completely overhauling my skin care routine which at the moment is a facial wash followed by body shop vitamin E moisturiser at night. Then body shop vitamin E (I think) with spf 30 in the morning before applying make up.
I have combination skin.

Before you do anything I would highly recommend reading the skincare guides in the first post of the fantastic skincare thread. It will give you a sense of what kind of skin you have, what issues you are trying to address and some have some product recommendations. DON'T just buy a line from a brand without understanding what is in it and will that fix what you are trying to fix. You really don't have to spend loads of money to get good skincare, you do need to understand what you are trying to tackle and what ingredients are going to make a difference. Seriously, hold on to your wallet and do some reading first. Introduce ONLY one thing at a time for a few weeks to see if it works and if your skin reacts.
