Please help me find a 60s style dress

I am going to a 60s party soon and I need to find a dress. I am in my 50s and an apple shape. I was looking for something above the knee, maybe with a black and white pattern. I quite like A-line dresses but nothing too maternity frock ! The budget is around £100 - and I would ideally like something I can wear again and not too 'fancy dress'.
Please help kind S&B folk.

I got a 60s black and white dog tooth check dress on eBay. Use the filters and have a root around on there.

Have a look at Elsie's attic and lindybop

ConstantlyCooking · 13/03/2019 21:46

I quite liked this but it wasn't something I would wear again and was v pricey for one wear. www.reiss.com/p/swirl-printed-shift-dress-womens-azzura-in-black-white/?category_id=1121&gaEeList=W%20-%20Dresses#&gid=1&pid=1

You could probably get a local dress maker to make something for a hundred quid.

ConstantlyCooking · 13/03/2019 21:50

Thank you for the suggestions. I have tried Lindy Bop but it was more early 60s stuff and the nipped in waists don't work on me- which is a shame because I love the idea of the clothes. It is an evening event so I would like to look nice and a bit dressed up.

I think that this could be styled to look 60's - a bit like from Mad Men

ConstantlyCooking · 13/03/2019 22:53

Love the Yumi dress! How generous is the sizing?

Happy shopping, sorry I don't know about the yumi sizing, but they have it on the Debenhams website, so maybe able to find it in store to try.
