Black wide bottom trousers

OK, so I have a pair of trousers exactly like the ones here :

I intend to wear them with shoes very similar to what the model has on. But what would you wear on top?

I'm thinking a tucked in shirt, or some sort of a boat neck top, but would a vest and a blazer work also?

I will wear them for the office only, so leaning towards smart.

I have a similar style trousers which I wore all the time in the spring/summer so can tell you what worked for me -

any slim-fitting top, tucked in (or one short enough not to need to tuck in)

A shirt only if it's tight and won't billow over the waistband

I'd only wear a blazer (or any kind of jacket/cardigan) with this style trouser if it was quite short, so that the jacket hardly overlaps the waistband.

Always flat shoes, never heels
