Blonde hair disaster

Hi all. I recently had my hair bleached and dyed blonde but I really don't like it. It's gone really yellow and the purple shampoo isn't really helping. To go back to brunette is it really as simple as doing a red dye and then brown after that? I know I should go to a salon but nowhere decent has any space for ages! Thanks in advance!

You can get it toned at a salon to get the yellow out of it. Maybe try that first?

Do you mean its turned out really yellow.or it was lighter and gone yellow after a few weeks etc,
If its just turned out more yellow than you expected after just having it bleached, go back to the hairdresser and say its not what you wanted, she might put you some blonder highlights in it or use a toner, i wouldnt try going back dark yourself it can look green

I only had it done last Monday and it was fine for a few days but is yellowy now.

Did you say anything at the time? you could say it didnt seem so yellow under the shop lights if you were wanting it lighter, and are not happy with it, if thats the case, she might redo it or as i said put some lighter high lights in which should make a difference,it would be better than putting more bleach all over, its worth going back i thnk if you are not happy with the result

Thank you for all your comments! I've been using the Bleach London purple shampoo. I'll give the salon a call tomorrow.

What colour were you before? You can't usually just go straight to blonde, it's a gradual process. Toner is amazing.

Id use osmo or even provoke as a good cheaper version.
The osmo is fab though
