I don’t think a leather biker really works done up for anyone but with bigger bust (which I have too) I’d go for a more traditional style or a waterfall type collar. I think overall this is too big for you too. And too long as it doesn’t sit on your waist which looks very slim.

ShopoholicIn · 13/03/2019 19:27

I have 0 fashion sense but i love it on you...

Polgara2 · 13/03/2019 19:32

Well I like it on you. As a fellow large of norkage person I find that the traditional style biker jacket makes me look bigger! I am actively looking for a collarless one.

TapasForTwo · 13/03/2019 19:46

I think it is very flattering. I lack curves and don't understand why you don't celebrate them.

RavenLG · 13/03/2019 19:48

Personally I Never fasten leather jackets but I think you look great in it.

Jacksback · 13/03/2019 19:51

Looks great
I’m Also blessed in the girls dept so watching with interest
But how do you feel in it ? Sexy sassy ? Or too booby ? That’s what counts

I agree Nottonight
Be proud of your envious curves.

Ineedachange · 13/03/2019 19:59

As another person of ample boobage and feel it's a no-no.
I remember when those grandfather shirts were all in, they didn't suit me either. Nor do roll necks usually either.

I would love a leather jacket, I've been looking for one for a looong time. Sadly non of these biker/moto jackets suit me.

It's not the waist that's the problem, that's lovely on you. For me, without a collar, I don't like all the blank shelf-like space across my chest, it just broadens my chest and makes me look bigger IMHO. Does that make sense?

Alwayscheerful · 13/03/2019 20:04

On first glance I liked it. Your chest does not look big.
On second glance the sleeves are too long and the shoulders look too big and maybe it looks like your Mum has zipped you up reAdy to go outside.
Lovely colour. Can we see it undone with the sleeves pushed up a little or maybe try a size down.

notsure12346 · 13/03/2019 21:53

Thanks. can't size down I'm normally a 14 but couldn't do it up so had to go to a 16!

I have short arms .. maybe I could get the sleeves shortened.

It doesn't look better open ☹️

Is it leather or fake? Leather gives with time so best to buy down a size. It does look a bit long, are you petite? Another style might give a neater fit overall. But don't worry about your boobs, they look great.

Cuch · 14/03/2019 13:06

I don’t think biker jackets look good doneup on anybody. Size down (it looks too big) but leave it undone - it’s lovely and I think it would suit you styled that way.

bingoitsadingo · 14/03/2019 13:33

I think it looks good but I think if you did the zip up a bit less, so that theres slightly more of a V over your boobs, it would look better. or do the zip up higher. Having the zip stop at the boobs just draws the eye there!

peachgreen · 14/03/2019 13:55

Nope. Sorry OP. It's not awful but one with a collar, sized down and left undone would look so much nicer. That one looks far too big on you.

notsure12346 · 14/03/2019 20:46

Ok thanks for the comments

It's going back!

StatisticallyChallenged · 14/03/2019 20:48

Another booby person here who goes for biker jackets a size too small, but worn open.

I do have one leather jacket which zips up but it's a peplum style so it balances the boobs very well.

notsure12346 · 14/03/2019 22:00

If I fold down the collar it looks ok actually

Aah only have until tomorrow to decide. I have struggled to find a grey leather jacket anywhere so I'm really disappointed and it's very soft!

OP posts:
ATowelAndAPotato · 14/03/2019 22:10

Actually it’s rare to find one that doesn’t have pockets/zips over the bust area.

Realistically, are you planning to wear it zipped up?

I usually wear mine open, maybe with a scarf.

What does it look like with the sleeves pushed back?

madeyemoodysmum · 14/03/2019 22:52

Keep it. I’m big boobed but have a collarless jacket from primary It’s really soft and I’ve worn loads It goes with lots Jeans skirts dresses. Love it.

SteelRiver · 14/03/2019 22:53

The jacket does emphasise your waist nicely, but I'm afraid it makes the rest of your top half look like one big block. There is no 'breathing space' if you see what I mean.

There's no way I can think of to break up the block other than to try a scarf, see if breaks up the expanse the jacket has created. If that still doesn't work for you, then I'd return it. Sorry, OP.

Alwayscheerful · 15/03/2019 07:26

Grey jacket.

Collarless leather jacket no-no for big boobs?
Itwouldtakemuchmorethanthis · 15/03/2019 07:33

I think that light grey jacket would look awful.

Your jacket is nice but as a previous poster said needs a scarf to break it up. I think with a collar and unzipped it would make you look “presenting my boobs”.Grin. (I too have this issue).

It’s a nice jacket. Keep it, but buy some scarves.

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 15/03/2019 07:51

size down, NEVER do it up and wear a scarf...big and floofy if no boobs, light and airy if boobs!

that one does looks a little long stiff and spacey in the arms, which should be resolved by sizing down, esp if you say it is soft.

Alwayscheerful · 15/03/2019 08:17

@Itwouldtakemuchmorethanthis
One of the reviews said "very middle aged".
I thought I would post as it was grey, it looks soft but I prefer the Sainsbury's one too.
