Which Shoes?

Off for a reunion lunch in London. Nowhere posh - just pizza.

Planning on wearing this dress but a bit unsure of the best shoes. I think the black vans look best not sure if something else would look better. Have tried on my current options plus an ordered pair
(the Adidas which still have the label on - am unsure of those as it is what my 13yo daughter and her friends wear.....)

I will fake tan my pasty legs and not have blown away hair (just mown the lawn so gone super haywire) so ignore those.

Opinions (good or bad) and suggestions welcome please.

Go with the Adidas - no you are not trying to be young as young people would not wear with that dress, and I am about your age range - I always go with Adidas

Definitely the white ones, and your hair is fab. I'm also envious that you were able to mow the lawn this morning. If I attempted it where I am at the moment, I'd probably be blown into next door's garden!

@SrSteveOskowski Ride-on mower so had the power of the engine to help move me and weight of it to weigh me down. I did struggle to get the side gate open to be honest - was a real battle against the wind!

Dress is lovely, you are lovely but to even contemplate wearing yrainers/sneakers with that dress is madness!

It just looks like you had an accident with your footwear and had to bung on the trainers just to get you home. They look awful.

Wedge sandals if you want comfort.

Adidas, can't go wrong with a classic. Or you could be trendy and go for Veja. If money was no object I'd go for Cavals 😍
