how to style dress

okay so I have this dress for saturday but pairing it with tights and ankle boots and a leather biker jacket as its bloody freezing!! All good so far but what about accessories? I'm thinking just some understated (50s style) earrings and maybe a black bracelet as there is a lot going on, but then what about nails? I usually go for bright red / black nails, but not sure red would be too much here (I will also have red lipstick on!)

Help please.......

Really? Is this a fashion rule? well I must be very very chic then or maybe I don't subscribe to making women over 25 invisible! as I always have colourful nails, what a ridiculous thing to say!

I think black shoes and red nails and lips like the pic looks good! I'm over 25 though so please disregard my opinion

Care to explain what over 25's are 'supposed' to wear on their nails?
Something to match the twinset and pearls presumably?

I'd say keep it super simple, let the dress do the talking and just be you - if you is bright nails, then do bright nails!

I'm thinking along the lines of black nails (I am an old goth at heart after all) and bright red lippy even if i am fast approaching 45years old

Apart from the above comment, I agree with other posters - keep it simple, the dress is fab and I bet it will look great with a biker jacket.

Guessing your tights, boots and biker jacket are all black? Definitely need red nails and/or lips for some subtle matchy matchy. I'd wear no jewellery or very simple studs only. No bracelet or necklace.
