Your best make up dupes

I recently had a Bobbi Brown in-store tutorial (get ready in 5 minutes) and came away with a loooooong list of products that I liked but don’t want to spend all my money on.

I started looking at dupes for the things I personally don’t mind spending less on (brows, mascara, some eye liners and shadows etc) and stumbled across an amazing dupe for the brow product I was recommended: L’Oreal brow plumper instead of the BB brow shaper. It’s seriously good and less than half the price for more product.

What else am I nudging out on? Hit me with your best dupes of any brands, not just BB, as I go on my voyage to rediscover make up after a long absence (Baby related!).

Anything Makeup Revolution is always a hit online! I’ve heard their liquid concealer is a dupe for that expensive Tarte concealer that all the professionals love

Makeup Revolution Re-Loaded eyeshadow palettes (or the I 🖤 Revolution chocolate bar ones if you want something with a mirror and a sturdier case,) are great dupes for the ABH ones which I refuse to buy because they're so dammed expensive. Smile

Essence by Wilkos Lash Princess mascara - the black tube with green writing - its amazing and only costs £3.30! I have brand new Benefit mascara that are just sitting there since I found this.

If you’re happy with black or brown, Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner is just as good as Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner (the one in the little pot with a brush), and doesn’t dry out as quickly either.

E.L.F 16 Hour Camo Concealer is a pretty good dupe of Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Sleek Rose Gold Blusher is a dupe of Nars Orgasm.

The Primark £2.50 medium cover foundation (in the squeezy tube) is supposed to be a dupe of Armani Luminous Silk. I havent tried the latter but the Primark one has become my new favourite foundation, its the nuts!

Collection concealer supposed to be a dupe of NARS creamy concealer. Again haven't tried the NARS but I love the Collection one.

Loads of Makeup Revolution palettes, I have the ones that are dupes for ABH Modern Renaissance, Subculture and Two Faced Choc bar. The Choc one isn't that great but the other two are brilliant.

Asda george eyebrow gel... tis better than a lot of high end stuff. The colour is perfect too. Not too orange or ashy.
Revlon colorstay is a dupe for eldw
Nyx lipsticks are similar to high end ones.
Revolution as above are all over duping high end stuff. I love a lot of their stuff

Imacliche · 14/03/2019 10:42

Side note revolution highlighter drops or any highlighter in fact are seriously lush.

Elllllle · 14/03/2019 11:14

I'm yet to find a dupe I love as much as the original.

Aldi Lacura Hot Cloth Cleanser is in their special buys at the moment and is a perfect dupe of the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.
