Mascara

I am never satisfied with a mascara. I don't wear it every day but hate clumpy looking lashes. I've tried the new Dior, benefit and Lancôme. Does anyone have any recommendations?? Thanks

I usually like to use two mascaras. I use one with a plastic applicator like benefit rollerlash to separate the lashes out, then when it's dry I use another one (Chanel or too faced) to make them more voluminous. I find that this avoids any clumping.

I just bought Maybelline Push up angel mascara and I was pleasantly surprised. Normally I go with Benefit but didn't have time to go to a department store so just popped into my local chemist and went for a cheaper mascara. The wand is a little weird looking but actually coats my lashes nicely and makes them look a lot longer with no clumping. Can definitely recommend.

L'Oréal telescopic has been one that I've returned to for years and years. It's a good lengthener and does layer well for more volume. It's a tubing mascara so I find it doesn't smudge but removes easily with make up remover and warm water.

Rocket by maybelline is good too but smudges a little more.

Expensive mascaras have never lived up to the hype and I've tried loads and wasted loads of money, sadly!
