HELP! Purple highlights!!!!

Please someone help me.

So on Saturday I have a full head of bleach highlights. It looked great and I was happy. When leaving the salon, the salon owner asked if I knew about purple shampoo. I explained I'd been light before so probably have some lying around.

She pumped some of theirs into a bag for me and told me to use this on the first wash and leave for 15mins. Well...you guessed it. I have purple hair.

If I had time I'd go back. But I really don't and I really need a quick fix.

After googling, I have head n shoulders? Will this strip the purple?

I have also read about lemons :-/

I cannot believe she told you to leave it on freshly bleached hair for fifteen minutes. Completely ridiculous.

Get yourself some Tresemme deep cleansing shampoo. Wash twice, leave the last wash on your head for at least ten minutes and it will lift the purple. Get a really good conditioner.

Thank you, I have just done that and it's looking a lot better! Hah, I'll actually show you the before pic!

I actually really like that, but obviously it's no good if you didn't want purple streaks!!

My mum thought it was fantastic! I would have just left it if it was even, but it made the blonde look soooo yellow compared.

Dont worry a few shampoos with normal shampoo will bring it out. Hairdresser really shouldnt have told you to leave it on 15mins you hair will be mega porous the first wash. I tell my clients to leave it no longer then a couple of mins and only once or twice a week. Good luck xox
