Please help - going on holiday on Thursday and was immbolised for months - am now a size 14-16 which feels like a disaster at 5'3....and absolutely no tone at all...urgently need some clothes, or at least a:

Maxi Skirt/Dress
Maybe forgiving jeans
or
Cigarette pants - basically clothes for my bottom half which doesn't make me feel enormous.

Think am too fat for skinnies right now.

As this is only temporary fattage, I really dont want to spend more than you would at H&M, TopShop, NewLook etc. Have tried all those shops and look horrendous in everything.

Have you seen anything super flattering?

i quite like the 'girlfriend' jeans from TU.

Skinny jeans are fine but with long top or dress over. Tbh that's my go to outfit and I'm a 14. Lengthens out the body and detracts attention from thighs/bum xx

Hmm great thanks!

Will go to sainsburys tomorrow and look at the jeans

I'm a car crash from waist downwards -just cant find anything to emphasize waist and ignore everything else!

I really wish i didnt care so much

Denim midi skirt? I've got one that hugs me in & creates a long line. Toyshop have one albeit with a slit.

MillicentSnitch · 11/03/2019 18:21

Topshop!

Asda George have some lovely wide leg trousers and jump suits - they won't be brilliant quality but should be good enough to last a season

Maxi shirt dress? flattering or Sack?

Im confined to trainers so not keen on swathes of cankles bulging over the top....
