Charm bracelet recommendations

Hello,

My DD will soon be turning one (where has the time gone!). I would like to buy her a charm bracelet and a charm that I can then add to each birthday. I have been looking around and haven't found ones I really like. I am not a fan of Pandora. (Nothing against it- just not my style). Does anyone have any suggestions of other places to look for bracelets and charms?

Many thanks for any ideas.

My daughter has a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet and we like it

Links of London.

I have Thomas Sabo bracelets and I love them. I have a silver chain, a wooden look bead and a turquoise bead one (last two are nice in the Summer with a couple summery charms, I wear the silver chain one in the Winter)

If you're expecting to add to it every year and your DD is only just turning one I'd actually go for a traditional type of charm bracelet rather than one of the modern branded ones - more timeless & you can add charms from lots of places not just from the 'brand' (I bought myself a silver bracelet when I was 7 and have been collecting charms ever since including ones from places I visit!). Any decent jewellers should have a belcher type chain bracelet (or do a bit of googling!). Lots of bracelets sold as charm bracelets have the cute padlock type clasps - I'd avoid and get a more sturdy clasp as once you add charms, the bracelet will get heavier and the padlocks don't hold closed very well under the load.

Thank you so much for the recommendations. I like the idea of going for a more traditional style bracelet instead of a more modern one. I will go to some jewellery shops this weekend.
Thanks!

I’ve got a nomination charm bracelet. They are flat links you connect together to make the bracelet. I prefer these to dangly charms.

I find charmworks have a great range of traditional charms. I got a bracelet at Goldsmiths and add to it, but I'm sure charmworks do bracelets too

Have a look at Joy Everley for a traditional charm bracelet and tons of choice of charms www.joyeverley.co.uk

The quality is lovely and prices are very reasonable
