Care to share any tips?! I've just tried to do my roots myself for the first time and had an absolute nightmare with it! I was trying to section it off but the rest of my hair was just flapping about in the way! I couldn't work with a mirror behind me as it was so disorientating so in the end I slapped it on by feel, and missed a load Grin I'm feeling a bit useless right now!

I use half a box of www.superdrug.com/Hair/Hair-Colourants/Permanent-Hair-Dye/Preference-Infinia-11-21-Ultra-Light-Pearl-Blonde-Hair-Dye/p/705605

And mix with shampoo to make a bleach bath and I massage it in all over my head for 20/30 minutes, rubbing it through the ends for the last five minutes or so.

I have fairly long hair and quite a lot of it.

I find that a lot easier than sectioning off my hair and doing thd roots.

I do this in between dyeing it blonde.

That sounds good! How much shampoo would you use? Equal parts? What colour is your natural hair and does it lighten the roots to blonde or just a shade or so lighter?
