Nice dress but low cut what could I do with it?

Hi I’ve bought a dress from next and it’s flattering and I love it. The only problem is it’s very low cut and I have a big chest, I don’t mind showing a little cleavage but with how low cut it is it shows way too much. I’ve pinned it together with my fingers and it looks a lot better. My question is does anyone know what I could pin it with to hold it together to wear out?

I often just sew a stitch into a neckline at the place where it looks right if I pinch it with my fingers.

You could sew it yourself, wear a cami or half tee in a matching or contrasting colour or Ive used a pin brooch thing before to hold a dress closed.

You can buy tiny little poppers to sew on. Sometimes a stitch makes it harder to get on/off.

It all depends on the style of dress, another option is to buy a modesty panel

I was expecting to see a picture. However there are some lovely lace vests that can be worn under dresses. I get mine from Jigsaw. Cost but had them years and wear all the time.

I bought a set of 'modesty panels' from either ebay or Amazon a couple of years ago- they clip onto your bra and work really well if you don't want the extra layer of a cami.

Ooh modesty panels sound handy

A nice lacy bralette underneath?

Ellapaella · 10/03/2019 08:44

Oh sorry your question was specifically about pins..

Michaelbaubles · 10/03/2019 08:44

I’m a convert to a slip under a dress - solves any low-cut issues, no static on legs and makes the dress sit better too.

www.bosombutton.com/purchase.php
This does exactly what you want.

Wish manufacturers would think about this though.
I'm sure men don't have this problem.
