A classic black leather handbag

So I’m so used to lugging a baby changing bag around I have no idea what looks good anymore. I’m after a classic black leather bag, just the size for going to the pub or out shopping. Budget is upto £150
I don’t know what brands to even start looking at. I’m 38 if that matters.
I saw this in Karen Millen but I’m not sure of the quality there?

Any ideas where to look please? Help a out of the loop mum out.

Watching with interest. I've been looking for a new bag for 2 years but can never find something just right.

I got a Radley tiny cross body bag via work (bonus in weird shopping vouchers so limited choice) and I've actually been really impressed with it even though I hate that little dog. The bag was nice soft leather, and had several well thought out compartments. So I end up using it all the time outside work. So worth a look.

Fossil have some very nice bags that aren't too pricey. I have one, really good quality.

@ANiceSliceOfCake have a look in whistles they have some nice leather bags...they have sales at the moment too
Also look in TK Maxx you may find a bargain!

Try Ted Baker or Coach. The latter has very good sales.

I just bought a Kate Spade. I also have radley and a number of non designer bags.

Have a look at Brand Alley.

I like that bag. Black is quite harsh so maybe consider a burgundy or navy.
