How many bangles?

I'm still in the process of buying new jewellery after a burglary. Not replacing items like for like but getting some new things that are a bit different and that I'll wear. .

I have never done the lots of silver bangles thing and I'd like to try that. How many is about right to make it look "ooh, she's got a lot of bangles" but not look silly? The Hersey ones lok nice, any other suggestions?

I wear 12 all the time, all different, I can 'name and place' each one, from the one i was given at 18 to the one I was given at 55 I'm told that my dgs can hear me coming (oh nana is here ) they never come off.
