I have one under my eye which has been there for ages, no sign of disappearing. Have had them before but they have gone away on their own eventually. Has anyone successfully got rid of one without resorting to a professional, and how? It's solid and in such a delicate area!

I had one under my eye. I sterilised a small needle in boiling water, then gently made a little hole in it before easing it out. Heeled no problem at all. After 2 days there was no sign of it. I’ve also had them extracted as part of a facial- same technique really x

Thanks @Pinkrach, might have to build myself up to that!

Are you sure it’s a milia and not a syringoma? I’ve got the latter under my eyes and you can’t get rid of them, afaik. Even if you get them lasered they tend to grow back. They look pretty similar, but you can’t do the needle thing you can do for milia- there’s just no neat little bit you can pop out.

I get them around my eyes & cheekbones & do the same as Pinkrach

I always wash my face with antibac facewash afterwards & there's no sign in a couple of days.

I had one sort of under my eye/top of my cheekbone. I rubbed Pixi glow tonic on it every night for maybe three or four weeks and it got rid of it! You can buy it in Boots Smile

Yes I was wondering if i could dab a bit of glycolic on it instead, if tgat would work. It's definitely a milia, it is raised and white and hard. Will look for a tiny needle and practice a steady hand!

Update: well I got a needle and poked it, it made a slight crackling sound which was unpleasant. It was quite solid and crunched again when I eased it out. Felt a bit nauseous but it's done, just hope it doesn't bruise!
